A Neo-Luciferian Creed
A Neo-Luciferian Creed is perhaps a kind of paradox in an Aeon where we strive towards absolut certainty rather than faith and hope. This Neo-Luciferian Creed and the Neo-Luciferian Manifesto represents the framework of the Church in the outer. The Creed is a part of the Neo-Luciferian Baptism (I°) and should be read as a work-thesis rather than a dogmatic comprehension of reality.
The Creed
I
believe in a primeval darkness from which creation began and which we celebrate
by numerous names, one Goddess, Mother of Life.[1]
And
I believe in one star among the hosts of stars from whose fire we were created
and to which we may return, one Divine Spark, Father of Life.[2]
And
I believe in the twin of darkness, Lucifer, the light bearer, symbol of the
creation of life, the union of light and darkness, from which we arose and to
which we shall return.[3]
I
believe in heaven and hell as states of mind, existing here and now. And
according to how we act we may influence it by good or evil.[4]
And
I believe in an assembly of Secret Masters whose intention it is to further
evolution.[5]
I
renounce the rule of tyrrants over man and beast, and I renounce the fetters of
ignorance that enslaves our natural life.[6]
And,
as food and drink are daily transmuted in us to spiritual substance, I believe
in the Miracle of the Mass.[7]
And
I confess one Baptism, whereby we accomplish the Miracle of Rebirth.[8]
And
I confess my life one, undivided and eternal which was, and is, and is to come.[9]

The two oldest deities are the mother goddess and the sun. Science is
inclined to the theory that before creation only darkness existed. Darkness
thus becomes ”mother” and source of all that was created, and the
goddess, whom is celebrated by many names and many different
characteristics, thus becomes that which was created before creation itself.
[2]
The star amongst the hosts of stars is the Sun, a deity which is as old as
the goddess. The heat and light of the Sun is one of the reasons why life
began on Earth. But the sun is also the symbol of the divine spark within us
and therefore a symbol of the energy of life. That we ”may return” to
this source of creation is an allegory to the faith of the Qabalah and
Gnosticism, in which we may return to the divine, from which we were
seperated..
[3]
In
the book Aradia, or the Gospel of the Witches, Lucifer is the sibling
of Diana, the goddess. The Light and Light Bearer (Lucifer) exists in
darkness, but in the combination Venus/Lucifer he’s both the goddess and
the god. Lucifer is therefore a symbol of the symbiosis and synthesis
between the dark goddess and the bright god. A wonderful symbol of the
creation of life. Since he, in this creation, is the “sum” of existance
itself, we confirm that our life energy might transform to another shape by
death, but that it does not disappear. The sum of energy in the universe is
constant. Energy is not added or removed from this “sum” which we call
Lucifer.
[4]
We live in a mental world. Our actions influence. That demands
responsibility. Heaven and Hell are states of mind, but how you act in these
states, may contribute to make things better or worse.
[5]
The Secret Chiefs plays an important role in various spiritual and occult
systems. Their claimed interaction with humanity effects the evolution of
man’s patterns of thought and action. Thus, from time to time, Prophets
arise on earth, claiming to have had contact with these Secret Chiefs or
Hidden Masters, and with their results and success, render probable that
they have had access to non-human intelligence and insight.
[6]
Lucifer is the deity of freedom and a natural enemy towards them that
enslaves man and beast. Lucifer has some element of rebellion and anarchy, a
kind of civil disobedience against claimed authorities. This sentence in the
creed is the only renounciation in the Neo-Luciferian Church, because the
things renounced are fundamentally different from the ideals of liberty.
[7]
The Miracle of the Mass is the transubstantiation of bread and wine into the
flesh and blood of the deity, consumed by the participant, so that he or she
eats the god, in order to become a god in themselves. As food and drink are
daily transmuted within us by the natural processes of the body and thus
fuels the brain, so we postulate that by consuming the bread and wine during
our Mass, that these are transformed within us to spiritual substance.
[8]
The Baptism accomplishes the rebirth into the Neo-Luciferian Church, but
many processes have a seed of death and rebirth daily. Death, seen as a
state of ignorance and inactivity, may sometimes give room for life, a state
of knowledge and activity. It is a continuing process for each step on the
Path.
[9]
Here we confirm union and also confirm that the sum of energy
is constant.

Salve is Latin for Welcome or Hello.
Most churches use Amen, meaning something like ”may it happen”,
that is, a wish or hope. Salve is a statement, that things are as the
are, and that we bid them welcome in that precise shape. The Luciferian
welcomes life and its conditions, rather than wishes life to be something
else. We rely on that things are as they are for a reason, and as such
we’re ready to assume responsibility for ourselves and our loved ones
under the conditions we are in here and now.
