Gossip is a symptom of boredom.
So is concern for others.
Bored with myself I choose the escapist way.
Escaping, I found that the faster I ran, the faster life passed me by; the more I needed to live my life through others. A fan kissing his idol's feet? A slave bending for his master? Pitiful!
Learn to serve yourself and you will be naturally pleasing to others.
Learn to live with yourself and your need to escape will cease.
