The Ordeals

Winning the greatest ordeal is the greatest honor, it seems. For defeating the greatest, who is greater than you?

Loosing a great ordeal is the clearest indication of something beyond your control. What better way of ascertaining the existence of something mightier than yourself?

One way or the other, the ordeals are a measure of yourself. Deem not to eagerly to catch the promises; fear not to undergo the curses. Ye, even ye, know not this meaning all. Winning or loosing? A lesson is learned by both. The greatest or the smallest, what does it matter? At least you will have defeated belief by knowledge, substituted faith by certainty. What more can you ask, you partaker of the Universal Mystery?
