(Ecclesia Gnostica Spiritualis)
The Gnostic,
Templar, and Rosicrucian line existed in Europe for decades but came to Haiti
and the U.S.A. It kept no written records for fear of the Inquisition, but whose
lineage Bertil Persson of St. Ephraim’s Institute has been able to verify back
to 1726.
The lineage from Lucien-Francois Jean-Maine (No. 16 in the list) is commonly known as Ecclesia Gnostica Spiritualis, the Gnostic Spiritual Church and remain one of the truly magical lineages among the wandering bishops.

the Bishop of Lausanne for the Katolische Kirke Deutschlands. On April 1,

in partibus of Lydda for L’Eglise Catholique de la France. On March 22,
1772 he consecrated

Jean Baptiste Gobel - (1727 – 1794) He was the Bishop of Paris
for L’Eglise Constituionelle. On March 27, 1791 he consecrated

Antoine-Adrien Lamourette - (1742 – 1794) He was a Bishop of
Lyons for L’Eglise Constituionelle. On April 4, 1791 – just a few
days after his own consecration, he consecrated

Jean Machault - (c. 1770 – c. 1845) Coadjutor Bishop of L’Eglise

Francois-Ferdinand Toussaint Chatel - (1795 – 1895) He was the
Primate of L’Eglise Johannite des Chretiens Primitifs, but later that
same year he resigned from it and co-founded L’Eglise Catholique Francais. On
June 24, 1836 he consecrated

Albigeoise. On February 2, 1857 he consecrated

16. Lucien-Francois Jean-Maine - (1869 – 1960) Tau Ogdoade Orfeo I. Born on January 11, 1869 in Legoane, Haiti. He died in Boston in on April 30 (Valpurgis Night), 1960 while on a tour for the Gnostic groups in France, Spain, Belgium and the U.S.A., which were under his jurisdiction.
Lucien-Francois Jean-Maine was consecrated to the episcopate in 1899 by Emmanuel Fabre des Essarts (Tau Synesium, the successor of Jules Doinel. Essarts had been consecrated by Gerard Encausse (Papus), Paul Sédir, and Lucien Mauchel).
Lucien-Francois Jean-Maine was also consecrated by Paul Pierre de Marraga, mentioned above.
At the age of 30 Lucien-Francois Jean-Maine choose the name Tau Ogdoade Orfeo I. In 1921 Lucien-Francois Jean-Maine consecrated his European heir in the Spanish-Gnostic Church, Martin Ortier de Sanchez y Marraga, known as Tau Ogdoade Orfeo II.
Lucien-Francois
Jean-Main was head of La Couleuvre Noire and the O.T.O.A. He was
also a Bishop of L’Eglise
Albigeoise. On January 25, 1953 he consecrated his son
17. Hector Francois Jean-Maine (1925 - 1984) - Tau Ogdoade Orfeo III. Born November 18, 1924. He was consecrated in Madrid, on November 2, 1962 and elevated to the patriarchate of the Ecclesia Gnostica Spiritualis by Martin Ortier de Sanchez y Marraga (Tau Ogoade-Orfeo II), who had previously been consecrated by Lucien-Francois Jean-Maine. The new bishop-primate and patriarch took the name of Tau Ogoade-Orfeo III. He was a Bishop of L’Eglise Albigeoise. In 1966 he consecrated.
18. Michael Paul Bertiaux - Tau Ogdoade Orfeo IV. Born January 18, 1935. Patriarch of the Ecclesia Gnostica Spiritualis, head of the Neo-Pythagorean Church of Illinois, Honorary Arch-Bishop of the Neo-Luciferian Church etc. On July 3rd, 2001 he consecrated:
